Our Terms and Conditions are not complex, we have tried to make them as simple as possible, but we do need to cover a few items. Please read them carefully. (see below)
While we do our very best to take care of your pet, sometimes accidents can happen, or an animal may become unwell. If either of these things happens to your pet, we will treat them as if they are our own and take appropriate action.
If your pet needs to see a vet, we will contact you or your emergency contact person (if we can’t contact you). Please ensure your emergency contact person is up to date in our system and they know your pet’s information. If we are unable to contact either you or your emergency contact person, we will seek veterinary advice for your pet if it is deemed to be necessary.
Terms and Conditions:
- I authorize GV Boarding Kennels & Cattery management to obtain any veterinary assistance deemed necessary for my animal(s) while in their care.
- I accept full responsibility for any veterinary expenses incurred by my animal(s).
- I understand that while my animal(s) are in the care of GV Boarding Kennels & Cattery, they will take all care to keep my animal(s) safe and well and will not hold them responsible for any illness or injury.
- I agree to GV Boarding Kennels using photos of my animal for advertising purposes.
- By law, we are able to keep, sell or dispose of your pet until debts are settled, please see the following; Victorian Legislation – “I understand that according to the Domestic Animals Act 1994 No. 81 of 1994 – Part 5 – Boarding of Dogs and Cats (Page 149) – that GV Boarding Kennels & Cattery can keep my pet in lieu of sums owing.”
- Christmas, Easter and other Public Holidays – A deposit of 25% of your total booking fee is required to confirm your booking on these dates. If you cancel your booking within 7 days of the booking date, we reserve the right to retain the deposit as a cancellation fee.
- By booking and paying for my pets boarding fee, I agree that I have accepted all the terms and conditions.
- I understand the conditions above and I declare all information provided by me is correct.
